Tim is home!!! He came home yesterday and finally can get some sleep and work on recuperating. Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts. Ellen.... and Leah & Tim too of course!!
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and concern for Tim !! He has been home now since Sunday and is recuperating beautifully. Yesterday he was checked out by a visiting nurse and all his vitals are good. The VNA will be here a couple of times a week for the next couple of weeks at least. We can't say enough good things about Brigham & Women's Hospital and their staff. They are very supportive and helpful not to mention that the building itself is gorgeous. I was able to stay in the room with Tim with my own bed and flatscreen tv.They also have a Family Center waiting area that is above board. It is usually staffed by two people with coffee, pastries, 2 tv rooms, computers and separate waiting areas. They make it very comfortable to pass the time. Tim's surgeon has a wing named after him, he is quite the Dr. Naturally we are very glad that we chose him for the surgery. Tim has a month or more before he will be able to drive and maybe a bit longer before he can play in the band.
So glad to hear that Tim is doing so well! Thank you Leah for the update. We continue to pray for complete recovery. Take care and we love you guys! Love, Jane
